It's a....

Yesterday was my 19 week checkup and my ultrasound! We joyfully found out that we are having a girl! I started to cry when the tech told us!! Ahh we are so excited! Before I left for the appointment, I was texting my parents, sisters and brother to see what they thought it was. We had a pretty good mix of people that thought it was a boy and people that thought it was a girl! :) One of my friends (and student's mom) wanted to do a gender reveal photoshoot, so we took her up on it and went out to take some fun pics!
A few updates of this pregnancy that I have wanted to record somewhere...
- Morning sickness went away around week 14 (thank goodness!)
-Late night sickness went away around week 17
- I felt her kick for the first time at week 18
-Spencer felt her kick just a few days ago!
- I am still running (just not as often and not as fast!)
- I am just starting to get a little baby bump and couldn't be happier!

climbing and v-day

Spence and I had a fun and chill Valentines day. We woke up super early to make it to Kneaders for breakfast before we both had to work. All-you-can-eat french toast at Kneaders is just about the best thing to heaven I think I will get! AHH they are soo good and well worth the 6am alarm going off! First grade was hoppin that day with a Valentines party and passing out candy and love notes to all my kiddos. Spencer surprised me at school with a huge boquet of flowers (my favorite mix of yellow flowers) and then stayed the rest of the day! so sweet and thoughtful! I let him read some stories to the kids as we set up for our party and the kids just about died! After school, we came home and made a delicious dinner and had homemade huckleberry milkshakes! (thank you B and Justin for the recipe). We danced in our kitchen by candle-light, talked about our dreams and the future and enjoyed the night together! It was a perfect day!

The next day, we went to the climbing gym and got our climb on! There is a Friday night special of late night climbing that goes from 10pm-2am. So we took a nap after work so we were ready for the night (yes we are getting old). Climbing was sooo fun! We went climbing on one of our first dates and so it was fun to go toegher again. I was a little nervous at first with the harness being tight around my belly, but it worked out fine and I was able to climb some pretty hard routes that my sister Dani would be proud of! :)
We obviously couldn't take a pic while in action so Spence snapped one of me while we were waiting to climb a route... notice the many people behind us! This place was PACKED! There was a huge line to get in and so many people everywhere..I guess it's the hot spot for Friday night!
