I'm lucky because...

So I really LOVE to decorate and luckily I have a supportive husband that allows me to do so! I love swtiching it up each month for the holiday and making our home fun and cute! This month... St. Patty's Day!

One thing fun I did for this holiday was make this cute frame that says, "I'm lucky because..." and then I put some paper and pen, so people can write why they are lucky... I started it out! Spencer got home and wrote one as well, but it's alittle riskay... so we won't post that!:)

This is really the "first" snow that we have gotten. It is almost March with no snow.. what?? Anyway, when we woke up we found this little surprise at our door! I guess that's what you get for living in the basement! The snow had just nicely piled up by the door making a fun snow wall!

..and... a little sneak peak on what I have been working on!! I am so excited! If you give me a week off of school, I kind of go crazy! I really can't stand being home alone all day, so you gotta do something! I am almost done with some curtains for our room and for the kitchen! I LOVE how they turned out. Thank you DeAnn for letting me borrow your house and sewing machine!:)

Spencer and I had such a fun Valentines Day! We decided to celebrate it a day before on Monday and go to one of my favorite singers' concert, Mat Kearney! He was singing in Salt Lake so we made a date out of it and called it good! Spencer was in charge of dinner and we went to this really good Mediterranean restaurant! It was yummy! Mat Kearney was AMAZING! He has such a good voice! I loved it! One of the songs, he came out into the crowd and was singing and walked right past me, so naturally I gave him a HUGE HUG! :)

Pretty flowers from spence! He was also so cute and made me things he loves about me and folded them into little pieces of paper and had me choose them out one at a time! :) 

Park City and home decor!

A few weeks ago Spence and I went to Park City with our friends. It was super fun! We got to watch the aerial ski jump tournament and watch a dog sled race! The dog sled race was a junior race and so it was done in like 5 minutes for each wave of dog races, but it was still fun to see. After the race, we went up to the trucks where they kept their dogs and it looked really sad seeing 20 or so dogs crammed in their little kennels in the truck, but I guess they don't mind it too much since they get out and run all the time!
I am also proud to say that I played the game of LIFE for the first time ever! :) It is a a super fun game! I think I have been missing out all these years!:)

I have also got my V-day decorations out! It has been super fun to play house with a real house and decorate! I love it! Right now, they are all homemade decorations since we can't afford much else, but it's so fun to make crafty things to decorate with!
