PHO!!!

Last night Spencer and I made Pho. If you have not had Pho before, you have not lived. It is this really good Vietnamese soup. It's a chicken base with mint leaves, basil leaves, cherry tomatoes, sprouts, cilantro, limes, jalapenos (i didn't put any of those in mine!), green onions, chicken... and all this goodness put into one bowl! YUM! so good! Anyway, we have went out and ate this at restaurants many times, but decided to try to make it and it was delish!

Christmas break!

This Christmas we had a blast! Spencer and I stayed here in Utah and celebrated it with his family! We went to his parents for Christmas Eve and played games, did puzzles, ate yummy food and watched the Muppets. This was kind of a big deal for me since I think the Muppets are scary. I don't like how they bobble their heads all around! But I gave it a shot and the movie wasn't as bad as I thought! :)

That night, we went back to our house and slept under our tree! So fun! We also had a mini Christmas with ourselves and opened all our presents! Christmas morning, we went back up to DeAnn and Mark's house and had Christmas breakfast and opened presents up there!

 One night, Spencer and I decided to sleep outside in my NEW sleeping bag I got from my awesome sister Danielle! The weather here was been creazy warm, so one night we bundled up, set up Spencer's tent and started making out new years resolutions together. We were out there for about 2 hours when the wind started picking up really bad. It was shaking our tent and at about 11 pm we decided to go back in. Luckily we did because that ended up being one of the WORST wind storms! It started right when we left and I had to sit in the tent as Spencer took it down, so it wouldn't blow away!

 We also went to Temple Square to see the lights one night! Always so beautiful and fun!

We had such a fun Christmas break together! It was fun being with his fam and playing games! I also got lots of sewing crafts and craft presents done while we had some down time! Ah it was hard to go back to school!
